Tasting-Ruta 22

Name:  Ruta 22
Variety: Malbec
Region: Patagonia
Country: Spain
Year: Argentina
Price: $3.95

Winery review:
 "
Stout and dense from the beginning, with blackberry and violetaromas. Despite being a bold and dark Malbec, this is fresh and
composed, with sweet blackberry and cassis flavors. Good on the
finish, with candied fruit and caramel sweetness."

My Review:   The dark wine was interesting.  It had a nice berry smell for such a dark wine.  The taste was again a little too much boom for me but it had a much nicer finish than the last wine.  You could taste a sweet berry with  a blander finish, a mix of spice and sweets.  I would like to try this wine with food, not sure what would go good possibly read meat like steak.

Food:
I did not have this wine with food.
